StarDust is an interactive web experience where text becomes a living constellation. Here's how to make the most of it:

Getting Started

  1. Enter Your Name
    Type any text (up to 15 characters) in the input field. Names, words, or short phrases work beautifully.
  2. Click "Scatter"
    Watch your text dissolve into thousands of twinkling particles. Each click cycles through a new visual theme.
  3. Interact with the Particles
    Move your mouse or finger across the screen. Particles will gently drift away from your touch, then float back to their original positions like cosmic dust finding its orbit.

Four Unique Themes

Every time you click "Scatter" or "Reset," the theme changes in sequence:

  • Quietude - Soft cream and beige tones with an elegant serif font. Creates a calm, meditative atmosphere.
  • Symbiosis - Deep teal and aquatic blue hues with rounded typography. Inspired by ocean depths and natural renewal.
  • Electric Dreams - Vibrant neon purples and pinks with futuristic geometric fonts. A cyberpunk vision of tomorrow.
  • Ancient Earth - Warm amber and terracotta shades with classic serif styling. Evokes the warmth of soil and ancient wisdom.

Sound Design

Listen for the ethereal water droplet sounds when you interact with particles. Each theme has its own tonal character:

  • Higher frequencies for Electric Dreams (bright, crystalline)
  • Lower frequencies for Ancient Earth (warm, grounded)
  • Mid-range tones for Quietude and Symbiosis
